Precipitation of bacterial flora: after noticing an increasing water turbidity and numerous particles in suspension, I decided to run for cover and restore the optimum conditions in the tank for 15 days, totally eliminating any administration of products to ZEOvit acetic acid bacteria or alive, dead or simply freeze-dried in order not to increase the plant already in excess in the tank. I adjusted the skimmer for skimming a very liquid and I also started after 7 days of this regime and having removed the aragonite and sand from the bottom, to make 2 changes of 30 liters of water each week caring carefully aspirating sediment as possible, for the next 7 days of "therapy" in the days before the water change, I unplugged the circulation pumps and sump lift from time to smuovore with a small pump all the possible bacteria deposited on rocks and dead corals and aspirate once deposited on the bottom. I really think that we continue this way of doing the water changes from now on, since the sediments or something there is always a dead draw in each tank. As a bonus I had the idea of \u200b\u200busing a small fluidized bed that I had removed as mechanical filtration: filled with wool fiber (which change every day from scratch) and powered by a small pump 400 lt / h note with pleasure that the work bacterial removal from water is bearing fruit so that the water today (three weeks have passed since then) is obviously much more clear. One thing I noticed with the naked eye has been a growth of Acropora that avevndo not received food or some sort of pimp, were fed with bacteria in suspension, and remarkable growth of Seriatopora histrix, richer colors, but slightly darker for some specimens while others returned to their natural color after the color exasperation due to past administrations of Zeospur2.
Today, after having re-started the strengths of the products ZEOvit stood at 4 drops (as if the tank was 400 liters of capacity), I measured each value and the situation has stabilized, normal values, clear water, steady growth (only a couple of drafts from the base also caused by the forced diet). For another 2 weeks I will continue skimming the very liquid and do not administer nor ZEObak ZEOfood nor I will not change until the zeolite in the reactor (between 7 days exactly).
