Acropora Nobilis

Acropora nobilis: positioned on the left of the rock cliff and below the cone of light that is generated by a 400 watt lamp is one of the spearheads of my tank. healthy growth and color between yellow and dark green are signs of a correct positioning of his base. As I wrote in my previous post, I introduced another exemplary nobilis but very stunted, yellow-green color on the dark and with many parts now been lost due to incorrect lighting and power by the previous owner. Not having much room under the 400 watts I placed a few inches from the cutting surface of the water in a 250-watt white light and subjected to discrete movement; I have seen it, or that the animal is still capable of everted polyps (although not as thick as nell'acropora healthy) and make the mucus if disturbed. We'll see tomorrow how he would manage during the administration of the "pimp" in the tank. In the second picture you can see the two different specimens in my possession which I hope to maintain healthy growth over time and in the first and the second to recover health.
After just over a week and given the continuing disintegration of the fabric of the new Acropora, I decided to talearla in several places and place in full light the various peaks. After almost two months seem to be fully recovered: polyps are well everted, the color is excellent and sensible growth.
